See you got me all wrong. When you put it like you just did, that’s fine. We had this talk before remember, I went off into a thing about how sports are for playing and not for watching, and hockey is a great sport, etc. etc.

What you won’t hear me saying is that it is the easiest sport to watch on TV. It isn’t. All I’m asking for from my UvT peoples is that we hate on the sport on it’s own merit and not the peripheral fuckery that surrounds it (we’re better than that…sometimes). That standard seems to be getting met now, so I’ve got no beef.

Haaaa, Ian might be my younger brother from another mother. He just roots for the wrong teams and sometimes sports. Ian, if this is the best product that Hockey can put out, then we’re in twouble out here. Look, Slick said it, Hockey does not translate well to tv. I’ve enjoyed hockey games live, but the shiz aint right for the idiot box. Add to it that they haven’t exactly blown us away with their marketing and you’ve got a substandard product for casual consumption. Take Sean Avery and his old lady out of the picture and nobody is checking for “some good solid Hockey,” minus you and 4 dudes in Buffalo.

Sorry player, I do what I can, but I can’t make hockey any more relevant than Nascar….both are nearly unwatchable.

Now Ian, can you just get over it already? Thanks… just kidding. ha Told you I’m a dick.. ha

You’ll have plenty of time to get caught up on UvT since your ass is benched from now on. Anyways the diss was well played but i’ll tell you this, when it comes to Elisha C I’ll treat her like Thanksgiving dinner.
I’ll take 2nd’s, 3rd’s, wake up in the middle of the night go downstairs and get it some more. Get it when I get done with class, get it when I get done with work, whatever…
And just like Thanksgiving, after dealing with Elisha C i’ll relax and let the ITIS take over.
Maybe get a turkey sandwhich as well…

@Ian: I even used to play hockey, and can’t watch it on television.

As for the suspension, I get it. The league is steadily trying to prove that it’s suitable entertainment for, you know, cats who actually clock dough. But come on. Sean Avery dosen’t have jack compared to Iron Mike.

Trust, I’m over it.
The MLS is not the highest level of it’s sport played in the world. The NHL is. As for the NHL being “hot”, not if we’re talking popularity, but if we’re talking about quality hockey, that shit is definitely hot. But it’s not your thing, I get it.
