Wow, I guess we know how that Dick Cheney got in that wheelchair.
Not sure if anyone else saw this on 60 Minutes last night, but Barack really laid out Dack Cheney and the entire GOP ideology regarding detention of hostiles and torture. I knew he was going to get at Dack when he said “SURE” so firmly when dude tried to segue into the question, but I didn’t expect that level of GOP-smackities. Good to see Barack loosing up the rotator cuff post election.

Even though this is one of the areas that I agree with Obama, and one of the few areas he is performing well in, I don’t necessarily agree with his argument.
The people who hate America, who fight against America, don’t necessarily need Guantanamo to motivate them, or to increase recruitment. It doesn’t make any sense.
I do agree with him that we don’t want to continue down that path. We are America, we don’t torture.
